Michael Kiwanuka

Michael and I first met at a mutual friend's wedding in Plymouth in the summer of 2009 and hit it off straight away. After a long talk on the drive home about my love for shooting film and Michael's love of Barry Feinstein's images of Bob Dylan in the 60's we agreed to start shooting together, beginning by shooting in Michael's practice space at his parents house and around his hometown of Muswell Hill.

Fast forward to 2011 and Michael asked me to join him while he supported Adele on her European tour which took me to Berlin, Munich, Barcelona and Milan and other major cities around Europe and the UK.

Michael and I continue to work together with the aim of producing some interesting material to be released around the time of Michael's album launch in March.

In the meantime here are few of the images we have shot together and a great article on Michael from the January 2012 issue of Mojo Magazine featuring one of my pictures.
